I know this probably looks very amateurish but have just installed Blue Sea box to support Autocom and Garmin Zumo. Will probably get around to soldering connections at some point but so far works well and no electrical afro's despite my limited knowledge. For the live feed I got the brake light connector from Eastern Beaver (£8 inc p&p) which connects just under battery end of fuel tank - probably could have made my own but not much cheaper.
