Upper Wharfedale, Wensleydale and Swaledale - and not a V Strom in sight!
I post it only to show those Southerners what they are missing. (Those hills are a lot steeper than they appear on camera!)
The front screen shot was taken by Bikerpics on the Hawes to Ingleton road

This southerner has been there and got the t-shirt on a few occasions ...  :thumb:
Just wish all that was on my doorstep ...  :dl_smiley_banghead:

Sadly, it's not on my doorstep either. I have to tolerate at least 70 miles of crap motorway first but well worth the effort

This southerner moved as close as was practical as early as he could.
A decision I haven't regretted for a day :)

This "southerner" just wishes he could escape the bloody southern hemisphere.
In the words of Rob Hunter of the Grateful Dead:
"what a long strange trip it's been"
