Here's my take on the A40s

I put them on and did just over 100 miles Wednesday evening breaking them in. Then on Thursday (yesterday) I did a 300 odd mile journey to Edinburgh and back. The tyres stuck to the road like glue and braking was great. Did about 30 miles of town and motorway riding in the rain yesterday morning although I took it easy but they performed well.

I suppose it's too early to comment the wet handling but they stuck like glue to the road on the winding Scottish coast even at speed and leaning of the bike that at times had my heart in my mouth (actually the shit almost out of my arse) but I kept the underwear clean

They certainly feel nice but then new tyres always do don't they!
That feel a little hard/harsher than the oe tyres.

I only got 3000 miles out of my last PR4 rear, it had some stick to be fair but excellent grip wet or dry.

Cheap to buy too:

Jeesus H!, 3000 miles - that's some stick! ...

I've just got 14,000 miles out of my PR4 rear  - and that's definitely not riding like a granny either...  though admittedly most of those miles are on an A road commute...

What bike you got? Vee, Wee or Glee? or summat else.

p.s. there's a £25 cashback deal on Demon Tweeks on a pair of PR 4s (a week after I just bought a pair :GRR: )

don't know if that's any good, but it'll be gone by the 31st
