Hiya fellow stromers
« on: November 29, 2014, 17:50:34 »
Well finally settled on an 09 plate 650 in white with some useful trinkets added. Been riding about locally for a few weeks now.

Have come via a whole range of bikes including 1200 Bandit, F650GS, Blackbird, Translap, 1150GS ...........RD350LC (way back in the day).

Got to say that already very happy chappy with purchase, even though it'll be next summer before it gets a proper run out in France. So easy to ride, very comfortable, nice handling (although front feels like it runs a little wide after coming of the sharper and heavier Bandit12).

A bit like the F650 single, it feels like a cheeky little 'big' bike but doesn't get out of breath in quite the same way. Motor is lovely and punchy. Should prove a great B-road scratcher, cum do it all bike in time.

Will always nod, maybe even salute a fellow Stromer out and about.

Looks like a great site, so felt the need to donate early :ty:

Welcome, some say the cosmo fork brace makes the bike handle better, I can't say that I can tell the difference, maybe I don't ride it hard enough?
