Those curves look contagious, I think I would turn around and do it again. I have ridden in Spain (not Portugal), almost no traffic, good roads and lots of curves. Heaven. Thanks' for posting.  :text-goodpost:

Yes, the Serra da Estrela is a fantastic area, been there the last two years for a few days.
My favourite road though is the N221, there are endless bends you can see through no traffic and excellent views too.

That brings back happy memories.
They have to be among the best biking roads in Europe, they're certainly the best I've ever ridden.
