They are a really good all round bike, much underrated imo.
Had one for about 6 years, only changed cos we needed a bit more space for 2 up touring.
1980s-2000 is the best era for motorcycle manufacture imo, ultra reliable, fast, good handling and none of the electrical/computer tat you get on modern bikes.
