To be honest I have no sympathy for anyone foolish enough to buy a 'me'-phone for an exorbitant price in the first place.
So how's it going so far then?

Read about this a while back. The folk complaining about the cameras being damaged were using The Quadlock system (whatever that may be) and it seems that you can now get a 'damper' to fit behind the phone to prevent the problem.

Yeah, I'd much rather buy a cheap Android phone and have google hoover up and monetise every last scrap of data about me... :neen:

You seem to holding a belief that Apple don't? I suppose it's natural for the sheep to think the shepherd won't do them any harm...

Does this damper holder contraption come with the charge socket to extend battery life beyond the time it takes to attach the phone in the first place?

No sir, that's an optional extra at an additional, er, charge. Unless you're Charley Boorman.
The damping ( not dampening, BBC take note) mechanism on the quad lock seems to be three drone balls or similar. I was given the mount for my data-harvesting Android phone.

There's nothing in my statement to suggest the conclusion you've drawn. Apple is "least-bad", Google is shockingly bad. There is plenty of high quality research out there which enables non-sheep to make a properly informed decision about which phone suits their preferences. Which is what this particular non-sheep did, after years of using Android devices.
