Hello to all, just a note to introduce myself. My nickname is Zac. I'm from Melbourne, Australia. Originally from New Plymouth, New Zealand, but have lived in Melbourne for nearly 20 years, so Melbourne is now officially Home. Have been rebuilding a DL650A to use as my daily ride, nearly finished except for a back order part from Japan, the oil pump drive sprocket. The one in the bike was worn, so I'm replacing it before I venture to far on it. Seems as though it wasn't located on the oil pump shaft correctly and has worn unevenly.
Being from Melbourne I have been fortunate to have been able to spend plenty of time at Phillip Island GP Circuit, doing many Ride Days and up to L3 California Superbike School. During this process I have met many riders of all skills and levels and have benefited from their experience and advise. Looking forward to another great year, starting with the World Superbikes in a couple of weeks. If anyone is coming over for the Superbikes let me know, especially if you're staying on to do the Ride Day straight after the Supers, it's called the Afterburner.
