yeah I tested the old mans, well put it through it's paces, and slung it round a bit, enough power but it comes in a lump at around 5k then nothing much after 6.5k, pulls well from very low revs, but the panniers are a little fiddly to close and the seat is a real head scratcher to get on and off.
body panels seem to an rely on one-another to stay 'lined up' but I'm forever looking at his bike and telling him that panels popped out again.
but you can't moan about the bomb proof reliability!
OK I've moaned about them, but these points are in relation to the minimal styling of the wee and the fun factor of the sv power plant. the deaville does what it is designed to do very well, but is by now means a sports bike, load it up and travel around using less fuel than a pan, but be just as comfy!
if I did longer commutes and more touring I'd have one. I may be getting one, the old man's saying now he may give up biking and I get the Honda!
