Varadero 1000 1999
« on: August 01, 2023, 19:53:48 »
purchased this to get back into biking a few years ago. Bit of touring and commuting, but it's not had a lot of use.. it's really nice to ride and I may regret the decision to sell, pulls well, the linked braking system works exceptionally well especially in the wet and 2 up.. rear shock was rebuilt last year by MCT in Stowmarket and really works superbly, it's showed up the front end a little so I purchased a Hyperpro fork kit, but haven't got round to installing. (Kit comes with the bike). Oxford heated grips, scottoiler that actually works, rear hugger. Givi panniers and crash bars. The small screen spoiler does a fantastic job of creating clean air over your helmet, was rather buffety without.. chain and sprockets in excellent condition, Avon Storm 3D tyres in great condition and work superbly. 24k miles. Fresh MOT 7th July.
It's a 24 year old bike so there are marks around it.
Pricing this sensibly for a quick sale at £2300 (firm). Located in South Lincolnshire. More than happy to have a run out on this to anywhere to view.
