Triumph Daytona 900 (885cc) T reg
« on: August 01, 2023, 19:13:09 »
Looking to reduce the fleet as I don't have time to ride this anymore.. (not that I have ridden it much..)
T reg Daytona in red.. A friend of mine owned this for many years and stopped riding it. he's a bit older than me and he felt it was getting a bit too much for him.
Been well cared for as you can see.. virtually standard, just heated grips and braided brake lines been added.. nice set of Dunlop tyres, chain and sprockets are in great condition as are the brakes.. Lovel 3 cyl 885cc engine pulls cleanly and with character. Stops and handles as it should..
It's a 27 year old motorbike so it's got a couple of marks around it, but you have to get close to see them.. worst is where my friend miss footed and toppled off on the right and it's scuffed the fairing.. He has painted it in so barely noticeable. I have just put a fesh MOT on it.. 23k miles.
I think £2500 (firm) is a very fair price for this appreciating classic for a quick sale.

Apparently, I have missed something here, From what I a told, it's a 1997 bike that sat in a dealership till 99 before being registered..  So yes 99 is correct...

I am pretty much resigned to the fact I won't get to ride this more than a few miles so it's better to give someone else the pleasure of it..
Pre spring price drop.
£2000.
