rear caliper pad spring

how do you keep the pad spring in place when inserting the new pads? manual and you tube show it secure in the recess whereas mine keeps dropping out.

You might need a new one from the sound of it. It might be possible to bend the tabs back slightly to stop it falling out but a new one might be best.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago, you just have to keep playing with the small tabs using a pair of pliers until it is just a little tight to push in and it will stay, its a stupid idea anyway and new clips are a crazy price for such a tiny piece of metal.
