Mirror extenders/raisers problemz

I'm having a problem fitting the ones I've bought so if I can't get any joy from the sellers I may be looking for some more - Anyone got any recommendations?
I bought some from ebay, a UK based company and despite the box saying that I had the right ones for my 2017 650 the bolts are too long and the left hand one doesn't fit - it catches on the switchgear, so needs raising by over 10mm or moving in towards the centre of the bike, thus defeating the purpose of them..
Could be that I'm being dense, it has happened before..

Thanks for your reply Gert - no, I've not tried using anything yet.
Yup, I can grind down the RHS bolt so it actually tightens, but more of an issue is the 10-12mm or so spacer that I may need, and then a longer bolt.
However, it does seem to me that these are not made to fit the bike. I'll wait and see if I get a reply from the blokes that sold them before I name them with either a positive solution or a slagging off !

Maybe extenders with some rise would sort the issue best.
I don't know the exact details of your bike with regards thread direction, pitch etc so you'd have to check that but the following is just an example.

I guess I have similar extenders. Left one mounted with one regular spacer (washer ?). And if I remember I had to shorten left bolt a little.

I've got the same ones as Rixington.  No problems clearing the switch gear. 
I did fit some 'shake proof' washers as well but just to stop them coming loose.

Rixingtons ones would be ideal - I'll look into them soon, but have to say that the company that sold mine have replied and are looking into it, which deserves a big thumbs up as they seemed not to know of the problem.
I'll update this in a few days when I hear back......

They are not " made to fit the bike " as such. They have the correct screw diameter and pitch, so therefore can be screwed to the bike. The fact they won't go where you want them may seem irrelevant to the seller, unfortunately.

In my case both 2 screws had right thread and diameter.  And the same length.
But the left and right mirror sockets have different thread depth (see arrows, DL650 2018 XT), the left one is shallower that the right one (about 4 mm difference)
Without a spacer the left screw was too long and it was impossible to tighten the left extender to the bike.
I believe finding the right screw length plus adding the right numbers  of washers  can solve the clearance problem on the left side of the bike.

I put the same ones as Rixington with no issues.   Cheap off eBay.
