I've stumbled upon the car equivalent of moto gymkhana

Looks fun.

The motorsport club I was in up here about 25/30 years ago organised autotests, but ours were all mainly going fowards: none of that reverse into gates malarkey.
We did have a few members with chopped downs Minis & other specials too: it got pretty competitive for that little trophy at the end of the year.
Seems pearl asbo orange is faster after all....

I tried it once and couldn't remember where I was supposed to be going. It was like being on a fairground ride.

A friend built an autotest car in the 1980s. Tube frame, bolted to mini subframes. Looked good fun, very competitive.
