Ducati doing the right thing.

So many manufacturers seem to dodge potential issues, Ducati seem to be doing the right thing.

To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

They're not just going to throw away the old engines though, surely?  Says something about the complexity of them if it isn't cheaper just to replace the heads!
Old enough to know better, but still too young to care...

I'd guess it's a balance of cheaper vs quicker vs publicity, customers without bikes being compensated etc adds up much faster than labour rates, not to mention the PR capital. The PR will be especially poignant since it's valve related and they took some officianado flak for dropping Desmo.

$1,500 eh, might get a fleece AND a baseball cap with that....if there's a sale on ;)
