Fat Rat

Do not understand why you closed the thread for the new 650 and link to this
This is for the 1000 bike not the 650

I don't understand why Holly Woollobooby won't return my calls.

The 650 was referenced early in the thread, anyway, It's all the same ugly pointy one eyed abortion, so no difference.

I agree with flanners it does look like an 80s colour scheme a bloke I knew back then had a Yamaha DT 125 that looked very similar, I quite like the wheels though, need to seen one up close.

Traction control and anti-stalling? On the new 650? Have we been having problems in these areas?

Traction control and anti stall assist have no place in the make up of a 650cc twin adventure sport bike...
But I'm still drooling on the great job Suzuki have made of the styling job. If they keep the price keen it'll sell like hot cake. Much better looking than Tracer 700, Versys, Tiger, F700GS etc etc.
I love it!

good vids, from the promo looks like the Strom/Suzuki is going for more off road potential maybe to rival the GS, KTM etc....harking back to their off road glory TS and DR (Big) golden days. The yellow is even growing on me more

anti stall...do they mean an ECU that works al la Veek or fuel maps that have not been played with to meet emission rules a la Vee?

I like the low rev fuelling idea for town work, and the lower exhaust. The styling was never it's best feature, a beak pushes it further along the oddity route. If I was looking to replace my glee, I might be heading over to a reasonably priced yam or a kwak even.....  :stirpot:

"Low rev fuelling for town work"...
Never had an issue.  First ever injected bike, always seems to do exactly what I ask regardless of road speed, revs or what gear I'm in.
All those having problems, speak up, either I've been lucky or you haven't.

This ugly collection of assorted "parts bin" rejects will only continue Suzuki's dismal record of having not made a proper V-Strom since 2011.
