Allen Millyard Norton Nemesis YouTube Series
« on: March 17, 2024, 09:49:38 »
For those who like this sort of thing, Milly is doing a deeper dive video series on the V8 Nemesis restoration. I'm sure the highlights will be interspersed with Henry being daft and making tea on Series 13 of The Motorbike Show but, for those who don't get on with Cole's brand of 'crazy', or just want to see the job in more detail (like me), here you go.

* I can't imagine why this never made production, Ducati ain't got nothing on non-standard parts like this thing has. Madness, glorious madness.

I watched it last night, file the idea by Norton under "If Homer simpson designed a motorbike".

Bewildering, totally bewildering that a cash strapped company thought the front suspension alone was a good idea. I can't wait until he makes a start on the engine. lol
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Norton must have brought top designers and engineers together for that project. Pity none of them had ever seen a motorcycle.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

That bike was put together at a time when the company was owned by an American 'entrepreneur' ... or chancer as we might have called him in the UK.

I believe both the engine and frame were designed by blokes who really knew their stuff... I also believe that most people involved with the project have disowned it since, as what they designs and what was built were two very different things.

The owner of Andover Norton has a lot of the original paperwork and is putting the history of this, and other one off / prototype Nortons together.
The older I get, the better I was.

kwackboy I second the absolutely insane straight cuts with a hacksaw.

If I use one, stuff ends looking like I've hacked at it... with a hacksaw!
