Title: Greetings!!!
Post by: GrandadsV on June 13, 2008, 16:59:05
Just found the site so thought I would pop in and say Hi. Bike is a K7 DL1000 GT, the 99 vfr had to go, and as my user name suggests my bone are now showing their age :(  and something more comfortable was needed.
After a 1500 mile round trip to Scotland last week (from Hazard county, Norfolk for those who have never been!!!) fully loaded with SWMBO and luggage I can firmly say I made the right choice   What a bike!. Why do people ignore the V-strom, TAKE ONE FOR A TEST RIDE!!!! ###
Mods include Scottoiler and MRA screen, both worth every penny.
Well that's about it, good luck with the new site Andy, will pop in now and again to see how things are going.

Yup, very under-rated.

In a moment of boredom, I found this write-up on the Telegraph website...

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/mai ... trom30.xml (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/main.jhtml?xml=/motoring/2005/07/30/mfstrom30.xml)

They call it "the best bike you can buy."
