Not posted on here for a while. My original 09er has taken me everywhere. 50k on clock, an incredible bike. But am doing 4 weeks in Europe with my daughter so have decided to get a younger brother for the big orange tractor. 21 plate 650 XT with a few bells and whistles on it.

I've just joined the ranks of V-Strom owners. Still running my new 650 XT in. Spring may have finally sprung in Hampshire so went out yesterday to add a few more miles:

“Tonkie”,do you ever run out of places to go,I have been to Guernsey a few times with work and you can drive all around the island in around an hour. The perimeter road must be way less in mileage than the TT lap.

I hope Martin has an easy wipe computer screen. That silver frame might prove too much for his self control.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

@ Ianmc
When we meet up, we either go left or right and now and again we cut through the middle

The circumference around the Island is roughly 27 miles, it does get a bit boring at times, that’s why we have a selection of bikes to pick from and with the scenery with have it certainly more than compensates the boredom

Today we went out on the modern bikes, mine being 3 days old and were joined by a new recruit, we went right and cut in at the middle of the island as we all had other commitments, always end up where we started from for a coffee and a chat, welcome Michael to our gang 😀
