Help needed - I can't post pics.

Help!
I'm trying to add some pictures to my post about my big North America trip but can't!
I've tried 'resizing' down to kb rather than Mb.
I go into 'reply' and then add attachments - I can't see pics on 'Preview' either
What am I doing wrong?
How small do I need to resize etc.?

The pictures don't show in preview mode. Their names will be on your list of attachments under the preview pane.

I take it you are clicking on "Attachments and other options".
On my tablet I have to download the piccies to the device and then attach from there. If I try to attach from Google Photo's it never works. Once they are downloaded I don't have to resize.

I can't do it either but I remember someone posting that there must be text in the post with the picture too. Just one word will do.

Yes I've put text in the post and I'm clicking 'attachments and other options' and loading from files on my laptop. Still not working - is there an optimum file size for upload?

Are you trying to download multiple photos?
I'm not sure, but if your internet speed is slow it might time out before it has time to upload them?
Try one photo below 1mb & see what happens.

Resize an image to 800 x 600px and see how that goes.

Thanks Mr Rat and Mick - it worked! I resized to 800 x 600 and 'resaved' then posted.
