1050XT Givi pannier frame

I was hoping to fit Givi V37 panniers to my XT, but Givi says the PLX3117 frame is not compatible with the XT - yet I see in Stromtrooper forum that someone has done it...   Anyone got any insight/experience whether it fits or not?

Mystery solved.  The XT has side panels on the frame where the Suzuki panniers clip on. These have to be replaced with the base model panels to allow the PLX3117 frame to fit.
