1050 luggage

Is there any chance that luggage from pre 2020 bike will fit the 1050?

Hi Rogi, what luggage did you fit ?? as I've a 1050 with a Suzuki  rack an box fitted from new, but am 99% sure they are Givi!!!!! branded Suzuki!!!! and am looking to fit panniers as well, it seems to be a bit of a mine field. :dl_hyperhysteria: :dl_hyperhysteria:

I think the Suzuki luggage is S W Motech. That was my conclusion when trying to decide what luggage to fit.

I stand to be corrected of course.

I have the aluminium set, which look like SW motec but have the Suzuki name stamped on them. The plastic set could well be made by Givi . If you take the aluminium top box, the frame needs an extra strengthening bar which the plastic top box does not require. Some after market aluminium top boxes do not provide this bar, which according to Suzuki is required due to the extra weight of the top box. ( a bit of a mine field). The Suzuki aluminium boxes are very well made.

So I wish to add a heppco an becket top case to my 1050xt. Would I need additional brace bar supports and where would I get them.
Some times I only go there so I can come back.

The only thing that I could move from my 2017 650 to the 1050 was in fact the top box.

Everything else needed either new adaptors or to be totally changed
