Rear Mudguard Givi
« on: May 08, 2017, 11:51:57 »
Hi

just got me a Rear Mudguard Givi for my 650 Al2 2012 from motea.

Now trying to fit it and seems I have to remove the brake hose guard at the right side and screw it in between. Anyone done that? I need some pointers how? I can't see/find the 2x screws/holes on page 4 below.

http://files.bs-motoparts.eu/dokumente/anleitungen/givi/hinterradabdeckungen/mg3101.pdf

Thanks

I think when I fitted mine there was only one screw/bolt on the brake side, not two (the second was a lug that fit into a hole in the swingarm?). I seem to recall taking the brake caliper off the rear, removing the cable retainer, fitting the hugger then putting the rest back on.

Hope that helps (I did fit it a year or so ago)

Good luck  :fix:

I removed mine recently. The screws are hidden beneath the hoses so you'll have to move them and use a short screwdriver

Only one screw on the right side hole number 5 in the drawing is just a lug that it goes into, can't remember centre hole in the middle.
