Never ridden one, but the GT185 was something to aspire to as a kid, a really good looking example. .......... is the Z650 in the photostream yours? Its lovely too

I really wanted those two bikes as a 16 and 17 year old but ended up with a Honda ss50 and a MZ 125 instead! Still troubles me till this very day!

@ coolshirt
Thanks for the nice words and yes the 650 is a new addition, massive up grade for me and still trying to get the hang of it

@ porter
I had a fizzy when I was 16 and the 185 was another want, took me another 40 odd years to relive my youth, so it’s never too late

My current bikes…

2001 SV650s, bought new by the mrs and then I acquired it when I got her a cagiva raptor in 2005.
Just a “few” mods done on it

Nice looking bike Markymark. Don't forget to post another picture after you have made it yours. I would go for crash bars first. Not only do they make the bike look more adventurous but they do what they are made for in a stationary drop. Then a top box to put your helmet and gloves in. Smart bike, enjoy.  :auto-dirtbike: :thumb:
