Evening people,

My names gavin and from Bristol, I am looking to do my bike test soon and hopefully if I pass I'm looking at a v strom as I seen one the other day and fell in love with it ( sorry if this sounds gay). The size of the bike looks good to me as I'm quite tall too, and I don't want a race bike as it will do me no favours in the years to come.

Just wondering really what advice you could give when looking to buy one, And has the testing got harder for bike tests? I'm unlucky really as I passed in 2002 so well pass the grandfather rights stuff.

Other than that I hope I will be here a lot more often if all things work out for me.

Hi &  :welcome:

No such thing as 'if' you pass, it's just about 'when' you pass (even if it takes more than one try, like me :)) Best to attend a training school if you aren't sure what is required to pass. Things have changed a lot in recent years, not all for the better.

When you pass,  enjoy your Strom and continue the love once you get it.

And I'm sure gays love their bikes just like the rest of us :)

Right blokes I know it's only my second post, but I've passed the theroy side now and looking for a biker trainer the the Bristol area, can any one give me some good ones I have around 600 to 750 for doing this. I can't believe it cost more to do a bike test to a car one!
