Juve, I've got my tools, odds and ends, cable etc in small-medium sized plastic crates, so I can hoy them up there quite easily, or on my shoulder up the ladders. I've got some shelving as well to go up there (wooden, Ikea, ex-kids play-room - painted bonny colours ! - but they'll dee).
The heaviest thing to get up there this week is the new workbench, but its in sections, assemble (and strengthen) in situ.
I've got to remember there are limits to what weight I can put on the floor up there...I made the bloke who built it 'over-engineer' it, and its supported by strong wooden uprights underneath, as well as 'coach-bolts' into the walls, but still, there are limits! I don't want to find those limits by finding myself sitting on my arse in the room below in a cloud of dust and debris!
