Is there anyway I can set spellcheck to use English UK and not American spelling?

Those settings are in your browser, not the site, Dave.

Testing .... 123 .....
Prioritise
Familiarise
Hospitalise

If there are any Zeds in this then I have not corrected the fault. The fault being that the browser default appears to be English/USA - which is, in light of the Amercanism filter, an oxymoron. (Sorry Greywolf).

I followed the instructions in Firefox and it seems to have worked.

There's nothing wrong with the filter, it is there to try and encourage English and British people to use the English language, not the regurgitated American version.
