Server not found
« on: May 27, 2020, 19:31:54 »
Hi FR
Over the last few days the site goes into like a pause mode when moving on from the last topic, trying to refresh results with a server not found message!
Not sure what causes this but it does not stop SWMBO doing her thing so I don't think it's my broadband but who knows 'cause I am an old biker  :old:

It does sound like a localised broadband thing (too many people watching Cat videos on YouTube). Let's see if anyone else has noticed it  :thumb:

Its happening quite a bit all over the country, there are so many people working from home and their kids are being home taught etc, etc.
Broadband suppliers are cutting down on the bandwidth so everyone has a chance but sometimes its just too much for the system and it shuts down for a few minutes.Wait until about 21:15 hrs.tonight when half of the western world tunes into NASA Live, to watch the SpaceX craft lift off.

I had the same this morning but it was just a one-off. I had to log in again and it sorted it.

I have not had this problem
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.
