Fitting to a 09 Weestrom - the wire - orange and grey (or white) and black - in the shadow (under coolant tank, under petrol tank)

close up of connector - flipping hard to get to & mine has a cable tie just besides, but easy to disconnect once past the gynecological constrictions  :)

Disconnect (fairly easy - look at a connector you can get to easily to see where clip is before ferreting about :smirk: - clip in aux each end and move back to a safe point in void and move on to where you want to put the box etc. Good bit of kit and will save considerable faff and any future worries and access problems for add-ons.

I've had a question about water getting in it. Here's a demo

I've had someone buy one and have concerns about rain and crossing streams, though if an submariners need a 12v relay fusebox, I'm your man.

Can anyone tell me what fuses I need? Obviously not very electrically minded here.

The live red has a spot for a fuse and also what fuse should I use in the box? Planning to put my heated grips through the box?

Heated grips either a 2amp or a 3amp. Just stick at 15 or 20 amp in the main fuse holder.

Just got my fuse box from BigPie today. Looks like a good piece of kit and will make things easy for an electricity challenged person like myself!! Will get a few pics of the install once I get it fitted

I like the design but original is just smaller, I will keep it, it is doing great job :)

If you take the bullet connectors out of the equation is the mk1 still smaller? Mk2 just terminates in the unit itself - very neat and easier for the end user.

I'll take some side by side photos later, the mk1 on my bike will be replaced by the mk2 that's been under water.

Hello Gents

Thanks to Bigpie I have now fitted my auxiliary power fusebox and run the heated grips and USB connector through it, Lights to be added when I finally decide between 55w Halogen or 35w LED's for added visibility on rainy mornings! Pic attached! Very easy install, Thanks Bigpie.

Hello BigPie,

Do the dimensions for the Mk2 version given in your post include the fitted fuses and relay?
