I pickup this tomorrow afternoon, looking forward to a bit more grunt on the daily commute (had a 250cc scooter for a few years, it was great but limited to legal speeds which became frustrating).

Oh, and the other bikes. My race bike is a CBR600FX. I had one previously, but had a slight "off" at Corams at Snetterton at about 100mph. Result was it flipped upside down 3x, landed upside down, caught fire, wrote it off. Mega angry as I was leading the championship in my first years racing. Bought another one, transferred the parts over, and going to compete in another round to put the other blokes in their place as to who would have won the championship if I hadn't binned it... No pics of the new bike yet, but if anyone's interested in amature racing, feel free to have a read.

And the other toy is a Benelli Tornado, which I adore, had it years, but I hardly ever use it so thinking about selling it at some point. Looks fantastic, sounds even better, drinks fuel and doesn't like below 30mph.
And if your really bored and want to watch some videos of the racing, trackdays, or the Benelli, I have loaaaaaads on my channel.

Four week trip to Spain in May/June this year. 4000 mile round trip. This is at the top of Pas de la Casa crossing the Pyrenees into Spain.
This is at our destination in Serena near Almeria.
Heading back to France just south of Seu D'Urgell, Aragon on the way to Carcassonne
A little trail riding near the house. Not very adventurous but this tested my non existent off road skills.
Market sqr in Arras. Stopped here on he way to Calais to pay respects to Great Uncle George (my grandmother's brother) killed in the Arras offensive in 1917. His body was never recovered but his name appears on the memorial in Arras along with the names of 35000 other lost souls.
Met this bloke and his Mrs. on the tunnel home. I asked him where he'd come from and he said.... Buenos Aires.... 2 years ago. This was his 2nd GS. He'd put 250k miles on the first one round North and South America. Then ordered a new one to be kitted out and collect in Munich for the next two year leg. Put my trip into perspective.

Took a trip around the North Pennines today, which gave me the first chance to get some pics of my latest strom. Went from Chester le Street to Derwent Reservoir, Hexham Racecourse, Whitfield, the clattering causeway, Hallbankgate, Eden valley, over Hartside and back down Weardale. Was scoping out a forum ride for next year but some of those roads aren't suitable for group riding. Some of them weren't suitable for single riding, being covered in cowshit. Almost took a couple of low siders slipping on the stuff.
Anyway, a couple of pics at Hartside.
