Sorry for not replying. Someone offered the asking price plus postage, so I sold the handguards to them.

I may be wrong, but would say no. There is no groove for the hand guard to clip into. The manufacturer's blurb will probably mention it - what brand are they?

I would say they would fit a 2018 XT. I had them on my 2013 bike which was fitted with Suzuki hand guards.
