Heavy clutch.
« on: July 04, 2020, 23:10:50 »
I don't know if it is just me and the 2007 Strom I have  but I find the clutch really heavy after a good days use. I'm talking several hours in the saddle. Has anyone fitted an after-market clutch reservoir unit to give a much lighter feel by any chance? Thanks in advance  :bow-blue:

From memory I think the older Vees had a slightly heavy clutch but not enough annoy you.
First of all, check everything is working as it should, the clutch lever and the master cylinder piston should be moving freely, the slave cylinder might be dirty and not moving as it should, same goes for the push rod, it can get rather cruddy in that area with chain lube.

The only upgrade you can do is replace the hose , it's probably original.
I found replacing it with a Goodridge hose improved it a lot.
