My babe got new look after professional valeting.
« on: April 17, 2018, 21:39:12 »
Today I went to Elstree to do proper cleaning after the winter. Bloke did amazing job in 2 hours time. It wasn't only cleaning. He did paint, centre stand, main stand, wheels, part of the frame which was rusty, even the part of frame where paint come off from the trousers. All parts covered in ACF50 (except brakes of course) and all of that for £100. 5 star service. So if anyone want to do showroom cleaning I can recommend this bloke (his doing valetting for 30 years). Are you saying he repainted bits where original paint had gone? That’s what it reads like.

So the repainting is the side and main stands. They do tend to corrode faster than other parts due to their location. How on earth can you do all that stuff properly in two hours?

Nice job.
But I thought ACF50'ing was something you usually got done in the autumn to protect the bike against winter salt etc, and then washed it off come the spring?

ACF50'ing comes with all the wash downs so the bike stays protected all year round take a look at this link.

Does look like a great service, pity my bike would be just as dirty again after the 450 mile ride home...

Nice job... :thumb: But there was no need to cover your nice gold chain in that white crap, just clean it to make sure it's even cleaner , sorry just my personal preference .
