This one wasn't on the list, I just stumbled across it while out on a ride this afternoon.

The hill was so steep that the bike was sliding along on the stand, so I had to take a picture while still sitting on it.

Ironically, this is right on the edge of Northleach so although I hadn't seen anyone for miles when I saw the "All Alone" sign, I was in a bustling town a quarter of a mile later.

Not necessarily a dodgy place name, more perhaps the spiritual home of this forum.

Well I would hate you to be the second to get the Muff  so I am pleased to tell you the other claim was for Muff in Northern Ireland, whereas yours is in the republic. So you had first claim on this particular Muff.

Congratulations  :)

OK, forget that, the other Muff is also in the republic, so it is "sloppy seconds" for you after all  lol

lol lol lol, I looked-
a thick, tubular case for the hands, covered with fur or other material, used by women and girls for warmth and as a handbag.

Just rechecked your photo and you are right. That is a wet muff you have there.  :shy:

Interesting looking at it in Google Street View too. Republic 50kmh signs change to UK 60mph signs within a few feet.  :auto-dirtbike:

Weather forecast was good & SHMBO back was feeling better so a little ride out was agreed. I used the ride to put some more entries into the dodgy name game.........................

Those two are on the list.
These I have seen on my travels but unable to stop or no camera.
