To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

:welcome: Do yourself a favour, test ride both the DL250 and the DL650 before setting your mind on the DL250. Reports have it that the DL250 needs a little more HP, to make it worthwhile considering.

I've got an Inazuma 250 as well as my V-Strom 1000. The Inazuma has the same engine as the 250 V-Strom. I enjoy riding it :-) Its smooth, very economical with 90mpg easily if you potter along, light and easy to handle. Its great fun on little country roads. It makes me laugh sometimes when I look down at the speedo, it feels like I should be doing at least 90mph with the engine screaming away but it says 60! It top 70mph is about 8500rpm with another 2000rpm before the redline!

The only negative that springs to mind is the cost of servicing is higher than it should be with the valve clearances scheduled for a check every service. Some people would regard the somewhat limited power output as a negative too.

I like my little bike. With some weather protection, bigger tank and ABS the 250 V-Strom must be even better.
