How it works:
You find a sign for one of the places in the list.
You take a picture of your V-Strom next to the sign, the sign must be clearly visible.
You can be in the picture yourself if you'd like.
You then post the picture up in this thread.
The first person to get the picture gets their name mentioned in the list.
Other people can still post pictures of their bike at the same sign, but get no list mention.
If you find one that's not on the list and you post a picture, we'll add it and you get the credit!
Only pictures taken from today's date onwards count! (Today = 01/08/2014, please be honest.)
(Edit: if there really is no road sign for any of these then a picture of your satnav showing you are there will count. If someone else finds a sign after you got the credit with a satnav picture then they can claim the credit.)

In the road itself, there are no signs and only a 50 yard section where the Sat Nav tells you that you are there.

On the way back I thought I'd pop to find Weedon Lois, I went through it last week in the car. Could I find it today.... Nope. Next time I think.

Okay, its a beautiful day out the sun is shining and I needed to have a run out today and try and round off my tyres from the squaring off they got traveling across France and I visited these places on route.
Turkey Cock Lane, Colchester, Essex
(http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/76590190/vstrom/turkeycocklane.jpg)
Then I went over to
Cock and Bell Lane, Long Melford
(http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/76590190/vstrom/CockandBellLane.jpg)
Had a nice ride cross country up to
Six Mile Bottom, Suffolk
(http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/76590190/vstrom/SixMileBottom.jpg)
A little bit further and I came to
Stow-Cum-Quy, Cambridgeshire
(http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/76590190/vstrom/StowCumQuy.jpg)
Heading eastwards I then found
Prickwillow, Cambridgeshire
(http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/76590190/vstrom/Prickwillow.jpg)
On my way to my last village I came across one on the Sat Nav with no road sign
Barton Bottom, Suffolk
(http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/76590190/vstrom/BartonBottom.jpg)
Finally on my way home I went through
Drinkstone, Suffolk
(http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/76590190/vstrom/Drinkstone.jpg)
I did find one place which probably doesn't really count as it is a pub and there are lost of pubs with this name, but this one is
'The Cock Inn, Clare'
Well I found it amusing anyway.
So a nice round trip and started to round off the tyres again.

Cockpit Hill was knocked down in the early 70's and replaced with a shopping centre. I could find two signs that referred to the 'area'. Both were on road direction signs this is one of them.
Just for a bit of interest?? There is also a pub of the same name on the lane.
Knockerdown is an 'area' rather than a particular place, I think! I could not find a sign but there is a pub with that name in the area, hope this will do?
Not on the list but this lane is not far from me and pass it regularly on the way to the Peak District.
I think you can make out what the name is and is it good enough to be added to the list?
Known as something else to a few of the boys but I couldn't say what!!! <!-- s:violence-smack: -->:violence-smack:<!-- s:violence-smack: -->

great place names..just laughed my rocks off
no loss though lol , not as if the wife needs them, hehe lol

I was riding home last night and the Sat Nav took me right across country and told me to turn left 'Weathercock Hill', so I did. Not sure if its a completely dodgy name but I took a photo anyway.
Weathercock Hill, Chevington, Suffolk

It counts, so I will add it to the front page :)
-
Well this one was a bit of a let down, this pub, The Royal Oak, is in Cock Lane in an area called Cuckoo's Knob. Unfortunately there isn't a road sign for either Cock Lane or Cuckoo's Knob and even the Sat Nav just says A346 all the way through. It's in a little hamlet called Wootton Rivers, which is near Marlborough and just a half mile or so from the Ram Alley picture I posted a few weeks ago.
Nevermind, it was a good excuse to waste petrol getting lost in the countryside.

For anyone brave enough to search for 'Bushy Gap' in Northumberland, they will most probably pass by 'The Gusset' farm about a mile away on the same road :)
Working for the local 'leccy board I have to chuckle at some of the names of switches and substations. There is a Bushy Gap switch and a Bushy Gap s/s and also The Gusset s/s. When I worked in the North West, United Utilities (as they were, now ENW) had a substation in Kendal called 'Dick Intake' s/s. True.

Not this one I hope !
Not 100% certain that they mention it in that one! :haha: But there again I only listened to the first 14 minutes. I wouldn't be so obvious it was released in 2002 and is included in 67 places around the world that he has visited. To give you a clue the band name is a fruit flavoured kids party dessert.
-
Okay clearly to obscure . It also rhymes with belly and is wobbly. You get a slip of it in your Gin and T sometimes.

Admittedly, my bike isn't in the photo, but I think it's obvious that it's somewhere close.

Should I add my contribution to this funny thread, I'd say that I come from a nice French town named:

that the river flowing through is the "Baïse" ("shag" / "feck"). Icing on the cake, I was born in Béziers whose inhabitants are called "Bittérois" (lovely pun which could be translated as "King of the dick")... lol
Nobody's perfect!

I'm delighted to see INCHBARE on the list. My brother and I used to giggle at that road sign when we were kids, as well as ARDO further north in Aberdeenshire.
Maybe ARDO is only funny when you're young...

But Pauljobr has found more of them than I have.
I tend to use it as an excuse for a ride.

Not so much a dodgy place name - but check out the UK's best pub sign. Guess you could make something out of 'The Giant Inn' if you were inclined to. Also, just around the corner, Piddle Lane - though you wouldn't want to in his state! Dorset lanes....just perfect for V Strom touring.

Not sure if we're allowed them if not in England, Wales or Scotland.

Gone riding in Muff a few times lol
Stayed in a hotel up the road from Muff (up the road, get it???)

I have seen the signs off the A1065 Sam but never been, is the beer good?
Iceni Róisín Dubh is my favourite beer. So much so that my youngest daughter is named after it (Róisín). Yes I did actually name my daughter after a beer. :shy:   could have been worse - if my favourite beer was John Smiths or Guinness lol :obscene-drinkingchug: :obscene-drinkingchug:
They were actually closed yesterday ### well there was nobody around. They're only a small business. I'll just have to have another ride over there again on another day.
-
roisin meaning rose, dubh meaning dark/black , I do like how you've used both fada's which is the correct way to spell it ,its just non native tongues find it very hard to pronounce , phil lynott wrote a poem/song of the same name ,
-
Yes, I think the beer was quite probably named after the Thin Lizzy song.
And I never knew they were called 'fada's'. I'd always referred to them as acure accents. :bow-blue: :bow-blue:

After yesterday's ride was aborted thanks to the Norwegian sabotage incident, I had a fantastic ride this evening. Blue sky above, bluebells all around, perfect conditions for bagging a few dodgy places...
First stop Gay Street, West Sussex. Not easy to find but the countryside round here is beautiful

Next stop Cocking. Again, went straight past the main sign coming in to the village, but looking for somewhere to turn around I found an even more amusing sign

This one wasn't on the list, I just stumbled across it while out on a ride this afternoon.
The hill was so steep that the bike was sliding along on the stand, so I had to take a picture while still sitting on it.
-
I like that one, where is the closest village?
-
Ironically, this is right on the edge of Northleach (https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.8288386,-1.8396737,16.75z) so although I hadn't seen anyone for miles when I saw the "All Alone" sign, I was in a bustling town a quarter of a mile later.

BARBEL Mick
Have to ask, is your name to do with the quarry you go after ? ( opps, that may be a large pit !!!)
-
Correct! Fishing is one of my other hobbies and although I enjoy catching anything, Barbel are a favourite! Unfortunately not having a great deal of luck this season! :dl_smiley_banghead:
-
Not a bivvy person then !!!!
I am an ardent Match angler, have been for years and years and years, too many to remember, but like bikes, never got fed up with it.
-
Have been known to do a 'few' overnighters after the Barbel but under an umbrella if raining!
Used to be a big match fisherman in the 70's/80's in the good old days of the rivers & canals but packed up when the kids came along!!
When I started again 15 or so years back didn't like the commercial fishery idea (although I do fish them occasionally) so got into the Barbel.
Still enjoy running a stick float through for a Roach or three. :thumb:
-
This is going to hurt.
I live close to a place called MONKS LAKES, and fish a few opens there, one lake has a high stocking of barbel, my god, they are so fit, and in such good condition. a 3lb one fights like a 10lb carp. I have had a fair few weight of them, but must confess, getting them out of a river is so much better.
-
Heard of Monks Lakes, pretty famous commercial! I know some say Barbel shouldn't be in still waters but if they're looked after they seem to do OK. I would much prefer catch them from a river though.
-
Came across this one today while out enjoying myself. On the A 619 as you leave Baslow towards chatsworth. Derbyshire. No signs but will keep looking.
-
Cock bridge Derwent Valley
Another one I tried to find today was on the list was cock bridge , hope Derbyshire. Not able to photograph as it's at the bottom of ladybower reservoir that was built in the 1940 's along with cock bridge farm, derwent and ashopton village . The photo was taken from the new ladybower bridge and cock bridge would be on the left as you go over the bridge to Glossop ( the snake ). A bit of history and hope you didn't get to bored .
-
Got to take my hat off to you on that one, been up there twice to look for it and failed!!
Figured that it was no longer 'there' but thought there would be some indication, couldn't find anything so congratulations from me, well deserved!!

Black Dyke Lane, York ..... bush could do with a trim ;)

Can we add FRY UP to the list?

All caught up.
Credit added for all the real ones :thumb: As for 650XT Pete, get the bike in the reservoir and you can have a credit :)
I cannot believe how many of these are recorded in the first post now. Great work everyone.

Fry Up ??? Where's that then?
North Yorks Moors between Castleton & Rosedale :)

First Strom to get there will get the credit then :)

Martin, my Lickpenny Lane is Matlock, Derbyshire. Just in case there might be another one in Staffs! Cheers for the entries.

Went out yesterday to see if I could add to the collection. Cockintake on the list is close to one of our regular roads so off we went.
Got a post code (ST102LR) off google maps for Cockintake Farm but on arrival, although a farm at that post code it was called something different! Rode up and down for a mile or so each way but no signs for Cockintake!! :icon_no:
Oh well. Set off to the Yonderman cafe for an all day breakfast and noticed this on the satnav (no road sign).
At Bottomhouse on the A523 Ashbourne to Leek road. Thought about one for Bottomhouse but road very busy to pull over by roadsign.
After breakfast (now about 13.00) we had a ride round some of the lanes behind the Yonderman and I spotted these on the satnav...........
no road signs again but they were on the same stretch of road between Wardlow & Stoney Middleton, Derbyshire Dales. (S324TH)

Three cocks
I could not resist taking a photo of this one on my way to Fat Rat's welsh rally. On the A 438.

Any news on when the credits will be updated on the first page?
I keep getting excited that I can do some more local ones then I realise I've already done them ????????????
.

I will add them all this weekend. It takes a while to do :shy:
-
No rush, I should have written the ones I did down somewhere so I didn't forget which were done!

A trio of bottoms today with myself, Cheryl and Rochdale Hornet (!) going looking for dodgy place names. Apologies for the picture quality. Getting a decent shot wasn't easy. No sniggering in the cheap seats...

650XT Pete - First one in Wales
tallpaul - Where is Slack Bottom and I will add that one too. Could only find one in Bradford and it isn't that one.
Barbel Mick - You seem to be taking over! - Well Done :)

Slack Bottom is near Heptonstall in West Yorkshire. Slack Top is on the map. For some reason Slack Bottom isn't as well publicised!
-
Your Slack Bottom has been plugged ....... :-x

Found this village just off the A5 between Shrewsbury and Oswestry. The Village shop seemed to sell everything except the thing that the name implied :icon_wink:(only those of you of a certain age will get this). Couldn't get the bike next to the Village sign so this will have to do, hope it can be added to the list. Place is called Knockin and this is The Knockin Shop!

Not Brexit related Joe as the front page includes the Republic of Ireland - But we did atleast limit it to the British Isles. Otherwise I will be flooded with pictures of Strom's in a small town in North East Austria.

SK11 0QH, south of Macclesfield just off the A54

Spotted on the way home today
Cockpit Close, North Stainley, Ripon HG4 3HY
-
Found this one on the way back from Santa Pod, can't remember where it was though .....doh! Somewhere in Bucks .....
-
Objection your honour, there is no vstrom in shot... :icon_no:
-
Sustained.
-
Little deviation:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-oxfordshire-43470241
Can't get more 'dodgy' than that.
Anyone in or near Didcot should get their bike underneath the signs a get a photo put up. :thumb:
-
Added the real ones (no Strom, no credit) from Barbel Mick and User650.
We should get this restarted (including me!) and get more crossed off :thumb:
-
:thumb: Cheers Martin.
Not done one this year....must try harder! :)
-
Martin, as I am a traitor can I get a credit if I have a picture of a Strom in the image? Or if my bike has a forum sticker in shot would this be satisfactory?
-
:icon_no:
My Varadero has been turned away more than once.
-
Martin, as I am a traitor can I get a credit if I have a picture of a Strom in the image? Or if my bike has a forum sticker in shot would this be satisfactory?
You take a picture of your V-Strom next to the sign, the sign must be clearly visible.
Therefore .... No :)
-
Ah well...
-
I even put V-strom logos in an attempt to disguise the Varadero but allas
All I managed to do was de-Value a Honda lol
-
lol
-
Not on the front page but is this suitably dodgy? I stopped here whilst lost on the way to Silverstone
-
That, sir, is effin' brilliant!
-
It doesn't have to be on the Front Page, it just has to be dodgy :) It's added now :thumb:
-
Almost,...but not quite
Spitewinter, near Ashover, Derbyshire
-
Almost added to the front page ........ but not quite :)
-
A couple of pictures from Oxfordshire on a nice ride out today. I cannot remember which one was before and which was after and what I was doing at the time.
Answers on a postcard please.

From the list.
The red in the background is Debs fleece, trying to stop the reflection on the screen!
-
One from the original list, in Deepest Darkest Berkshire .....
-
Added yours to the front Page Mick :thumb:
-
:thumb:
-
All these on the list in Northumberland. Put the screenshot in for the last one as photo didn't show the full name, couldn't find one for it anywhere and nothing on satnav. Screenshot shows building and 'village' name.
-
Good Work Mick, all added to the first page.
Per the rules, if someone gets a proper sign for Great Tosson, then you get demoted :)
-
Wow Mick you get about mate can I take a guess that you are retired ?
-
He is, but according to TLPower he NEVER ever mentions it.
-
Mick has been retired for years.
I'm not saying he's 1812 Overture, more like 1812 On Tour.
-
:old: lol
'tis true I have finished getting paid to work & surviving on a pension, not that any of these 'friends' on here realise what it's like to be a poor pensioner.
-
lol lol lol lol
-
Not on the list for Wales, so entering this as a contender.............
-
Now pronounce it!
-
That's good enough to get listed Mick :thumb: credit added to the first page.
-
Can I claim this place in Ireland?
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Fanny+O+Dea's/@52.739523,-9.1746072,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x485b17795efeb6f3:0xbeb4b20170c1f757!8m2!3d52.739523!4d-9.1724185
-
Nope - The rules say you must have your Strom in the photo :neen:
-
Now pronounce it!
Hugo, it's my brothers party piece (but nobody knows if he's correct or not :)) then he goes on to translate it into English........................
Saint Mary's Church in the hollow of the white hazel near a rapid whirlpool and the Church of St. Tysilio of the red cave.
-
That's a good one Mick :thumb:
-
:icon_batterup: Poor pensioner my arse, he turned up once a week and said "Sorry I've forgotten my sandwiches, see you next week". ###
-
Like "marriage" it's not a word. It's a sentence.
-
Nope - The rules say you must have your Strom in the photo :neen:
Harsh :smirk:
-
-
Not quite to the rules but both bloomin' road signs in this hamlet are on a road with nowhere to stop! As it is I risked life and limb to stand in the middle of the carriageway and take a pic! I have included a picture of the 'powder monkey' who I carry around just to prove we were there!
-
Did you pop in to the Lime Kiln on your way to Catsgore :old:
-
I didn't know it existed! Any good?
We ended up riding out to the levels and having a shandy at the The Sheppey in Old Godney!
-
Only ever used it for a meal with the family about 2/3 years ago it was good then but who knows now :old:
-
Didn't head up to Slaggyford due to time, so we thought we'd visit Crackpot as it was closer and it's on the list.
Unfortunately it's a 2 house village with no sign so we went back to the last road sign with the name. Hopefully it'll be sufficient.
-
Crackpot was described by a resident as once a booming place with a school but judging by the age of the residents that school was demolished many moons ago
One of the houses is a bed and breakfast so at weekends the population may boom from time to time
-
Easy one for me, as I work on Mincing Lane!
-
Now for the bonus find.
Undershaft, more importantly, Hiscox Undershaft! And just round the corner was St Andrew's Undershaft!
-
Too much shafting goes on in the smoke, it seems...
-
Pound Lane, Sibford Gower, Oxfordshire
Yes, they are real knickers on the signpost. The ladies are mostly attracted to Classic Wee's in Blue, with Silver Frames.
-
Hampton Gay, Kidlington, Oxfordshire. A little hamlet where they don't own any sign cleaner.
-
Crotch Crescent, Oxford.
-
Golden Balls Roundabout, Oxfordshire
On a Dual Carriageway and I was not going to get off the bike for this one. Pulled over, hit the photo button and off again.
-
Added all the August entries to the main page :thumb:
-
Was in lincoln today pulled up to find parking and saw this sign wow
-
Objection! No Strom is in the picture...
-
Objection Upheld Mr Tall - Undoubtedly a Dodgy Place Name though.
That's why we call them Cashpoints and not a Hole in the Wall.
-
Needed both hands!
-
Once again I refer to my previous objection... :GRR:
Also, the location is not in the UK.
-
Mr Tall - I refer you to the first sentence of my previous reply to your original objection.
-
I hope this doesn't go to the Supreme Court :)
-
I hope it does. A bit of light relief would be welcome.
-
I went for a Ride around Devon today and decided that I might as well visit 2 places on the list. First up was Horwood, then Crapstone. Took in a mixture of some old favourite and new roads.
-
Excellent Work :thumb:
Both credited on the first page
-
Thanks. My pleasure for your amusement . That was thirsty work so I fancy Beer next :obscene-drinkingchug: unless someone beats me to it.
-
@Mep. Apologies in advance and all that but your number plate makes me chuckle.
-
Brockett, am I missing something? I think you need to elaborate and explain your thoughts.
-
I'm guessing, but something to do with the N08 bit I think :)
-
yes. second childhood syndrome I afraid.
-
OK. I'm with you now. Never occurred to me but it will stay with me
At least the W isn't a K
-
OK. So I promised Beer next and can serve you up one :obscene-drinkingchug:
-
Top Work ! Added your credit to the first post :thumb:
-
I was wondering where to go next and realised I must share with you a road just round the corner from me. I present you with Nut Bush Lane in Torquay. I decided the best photo opportunity also included the sign for the Ring Road.
-
:thumb:
Added to the front page.
Extra funny with a Ring Road sign too :)
-
Out for an afternoon ride. Welcome to Cockwood in Devon!
-
Added to the first page :thumb:
But did you actually go there !
-
I will take another ride and look for a name sign on the other side of the village. This road sign was the side I usually go.
-
Looking on Goggle street view there is a name sign on the other side of the village. I don't use that road on my approach and it's not the easiest to photograph but I'll see if I can manage one on a quiet day next time I'm passung though.
-
(http://)
-
No points without a Strom Hugo :neen:
-
Hugo was...robbed lol lol
-
I didn't think you'd notice Martin
-
I tried that one.
Even stuck V-Strom logos on the side of the Varadero. :shy:
Too eagle eyed is our MartinW
-
-
Finally got the chance to add the photo of the Cockwood village sign I promised.
-
Well done Pinocio
-
Hugo. Who or what is Pinocio?
-
It is the Dorset spelling of Pinocchio. I presume he had a wooden cock
-
lol
-
Got wood?
lol
-
Watch out for splinters .....
I will add the credit to the first page when I get to my proper computer
:thumb:
-
I'm surprised the anti-American filter hasn't stopped these posts,,"got wood" is a very very very American phrase !!!!....just saying
-
They would say ..... "can I get wood" .....
-
I have got wood is equivalent to our I've got a hard on :) :) :) very American,, we don't use those words up north !!
-
Located today 23/05/20
-
Good work :)
I will add the credit once I get to my PC.
Surely anywhere is a dodgy place during Lockdown.
-
does nobody want to try Upper Ramsbottom?
-
Where is it? Only Ramsbottom shows on Google maps and tallpaul has got that. There is reference to Upper Ramsbottom on Google but not as a particular town or village, that I can find anyway. If you know it, go get a photo. :thumb:
-
Last week was Minge (Lane) and today was (The) Knob.
-
Great idea for a game this, so.....
-
How do you get your finds credited on the first page? Can mine get added? :ty:
-
They will be added. :thumb:
-
First full days ride this year. Great excuse to visit one one the list. Crackington Haven. One stop of a fabulous days riding.
-
Plenty of room on the sign for a graffiti 'S' in front of the H.
-
Added Mep's proper Cockwood sign (Fnarr, Fnarr)
Added Superbiker_uk's Minge and Knob (More Fnarr, Fnarr)
Added Feltwell for Stealthtech
Added Crackington (s)Haven for Mep
Fine work by you all
-
Already listed but was passing so a photo seemed appropriate.
-
The grass has been cut since the first pic.
-
Annoyingly, After Crackington Haven I passed through a small village called Bush just outside Bude. It was too late to stop, but there was nowhere to pull over for a photo at either of the village signs. Martin, you need to add this to the list! Screen shot from Google Street View for your amusement.
-
Added.
Who's going to get the picture first?
-
Is this dodgy enough?
-
I go through Knockin once a month on the way back to my moms in Stafford.
Of course being a gentlemen I've never been in the "Knockin shop".
Brian
-
A new one for that's not on the list. I present to you Clittaford Road in Plymouth.
-
Evening ladies and gentlefolkses.
I'd like to lay claim to Helstone and Brown Willy in Cornwall please.
I had a great time asking directions and searching out signs for Brown Willy, fnaar fnaar! Sat navs tend to get a bit lost at times on the wilds of Bodmin Moor, there are still dragons roaming around up there you know🐉
Nearest I could get to proof was a screenshot of the satnav and camera viewer where the public road/gravel track ran out 1.8 miles away. See pic one.
Had I wanted to trespass down the private road, an unimpressed farmer type soon arrived and prevented me from doing so anyway. So hopefully 1.8 miles away will suffice to lay claim to it for now, until some brave soul in Kevlar does a stealth mission to get a bit closer lol.
If anyone does want to try please do bear in mind that the whole area is a SSSI. So do go steady and don't spook the wild horses, sheep, rare butterflies and wild bees; -or the lonely resident Cornishfolks up there [who allegedly still throw stones at aeroplanes] as the blood lines up there ALWAYS need thinning. You have been warned ⚠️😉 No offence intended to any 200th generation Celts who might be reading this, just a bit of banter 😘
Brown Willy is the hill to the left on the far horizon in pic 1 btw. It's the highest point in Cornwall.
Other pics are from:
• Rough Tor|~pronounced row-tor~| carpark [which is the nearest official parking place to Brown Willy, 7 miles away by foot] showing OS grid ref and info board for there... [and a rather special warning lol 😉...]
• A pic of the bike with Rough Tor in the background taken from the other side of the stream through the ford by the narrow bridge, near where the gravel track becomes a cattle track, down the valley and up the hill a bit, by the new wall, just round the corner from the hairpin bend, and up the trail a bit from the offset, cambered crossroads 🥴 and taken from the end of some lucky recluses drive 😃 #paradise
• And finally the bike in front of the HELSTONE village sign on the A39
Great day out on the WeeBee 🐝🤙🙏🌞
Always remember you're never lost, you're just exploring 😉
Have a good evening all.
Ade.
-
Credits added for Mep and Ade8. :thumb:
-
Not sure if this one has already been claimed but just in case
This is in ham street Kent
-
This one hasn't been claimed, so now added to the list. :thumb:
I have already claimed another Cock Lane, which sounds like a right dodgy sentence.
-
lol lol
-
I have managed to claim Hornyold Road in Malvern. My brother lives there and I visited him on my return from my Scotland trip. Just around the corner is Cockshoot Road, which isn't on the list. 2 for the price of 1.
-
Admirable dedication to the cause there Mep, your great work is a constant source of inspiration to me 😁😉
-
Near York and not on the list. Never sure if its a village or permission to use a dildo.
Maybe the bloke who owns Snap on Tools is from here?
(Screen grabbed from video camera on bike)
-
The Knockin shop, in Knockin :haha:
-
I've had a look at the list on page 1 and my 2 latest roads haven't been updated?
-
Often go passed the Knockin shop on my way to Bala
-
Another one on the list.
-
One for the list as I got the bike on the photo. Virginsalley Lane. Ashbourne DE6 2DP
The second one, there was no road sign & it didn't show on the Sat Nav as such, just the B5033. I have a screen shot from Google Maps of our location & showing Cockshead Ln. Ashbourne DE6 2DP
Both roads meet at the location.
The third, not so much dodgy, but unusual? Dobbin Horse Lane. Clifton, Ashbourne DE6 2GL
-
Good effort there Mick. Maybe Martin might get around to updating the list on page 1 now as I'm still waiting :dl_ninite:
-
Nah, he will be too busy riding his bike :stirpot:
-
lol
-
Found Titty Hill, Sussex today. Unfortunately, there are no signs. It’s just a single track, (dead end), lane leading up to a few houses, where it turns into foot / bridle paths. Sorry no photo.
-
Nempnett Thrubwell, Somerset.👍
