We have only been going for last 5 years and I can't believe just how wonderful it is. we have some friends that live in Anglesey and he knows most of the good places to go so we just spend one week a year staying with him and go all over, just love it

Haven't been for years, now that the kids are older, missus and I are starting to spend more time on the bike - this looks a candidate for next year :)

Beddgelert is one of my favourite places, with a lovely ice cream shop. Some photos.

It can be a bit misty at the top

Apparently it takes about 3 hours or so to walk up. We took the train. Then I proposed at the summit - She said yes.

Here's the old girl finishing, bit blurry from trying to plan the shot!
Had to chain her up the next day to stop her running again...

Yes we stopped at Beddgelert on the way home from the west Wales weekend last year and stopped at the Ponderosa cafe on the way there this year. :thumb:

Got a caravan at Bala.
Rack up most of my miles in Snowdonia.
More good roads than you can shake a stick at. Can ride all day and only see a couple of cars.

Sounds like a plan. We had taster last year organised by a loveable easily encouraged halfwit http://www.v-strom.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=32607.40
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.
