Gpr can falling to bits!
« on: March 16, 2017, 19:01:05 »
Gone through the winter on my vstrom and the gpr is just in a right mess. The black end of the can has all bubbled up and flaked off. Its all swollen at the end and coming away fron the rest of the can. And its all pitted. Terrible quality. I clean it alot and I have used the acf 50 through the winter too. I'm guessing its not stainless steel. So I will be swopping it in for a yosi as I guess that will hold up better.

Might be worth contacting them to see what they say? Send photos and photos of the rest of the bike to show the overall condition.

that's the thing. I've already sprayed mine up last year. Now its gone back to how it was. I think its just down to not being stainless steel.

Try to contact them. I have gpr can on mine, ridden daily through 2 winters with it and didn't notice  any issues.

I ride mine 365 too and for 3 years now

I have the same as one other reply, the end piece at the top has paint flaking off in small area
This appeared very early on, cover it in vaseline now...and the exhaust  :icon_wink:

It don't bother me much as pretty much every aftermarket item I have added has been worse, be it Givi or Motech or...  :bawl:
It just seems par(t) for the course now  :groan:
I just cover everything in oil and vaseline after repainting  :stirpot:

...and they say Suzuki bikes are badly finished...hah! (what rubbish)
