Used it to run a few errands, came back after a few minutes to fix a sticking throttle again, never put your bike away when it's wet/damp, a good few applications of WD40 in the right places and all is well. Road test for a few miles (85 miles and 5 cups of coffee) to check it's OK.

Yesterday - fitted "slipscreen" taller and wider than standard. Removed the "White Van" style mirrors and fitted super cheapo mirrors "Aprillia" style, that I removed from the Glee when I sold it.

Here's a photo of the wider taller "Slipscreen" fitted yesterday.
Today I fitted the bigpie headlight relays and wired in the Satnav. I had to do a bit of cutting to allow for the Garmin power mount to be fitted to the Ram mount.  It is stunningly ugly, but now I know it works I can fiddle with the bolts to make it a bit neater. Or maybe I won't. I am O.K. with ugly.

Took it for it's second MOT. Passed with no advisories!!  :)
Tester found two loose bolts holding the centre stand on (or nearly holding it on), one was nearly half way out, not sure how I missed them on the thorough clean before winter!! Quick tighten and all was well.

I wouldn't worry about upgrading the tyres, they seem to stick well, especially at that angle. lol lol lol
Hope you enjoyed it

Fitted a Cosmo fork brace to my glee. Didn't expect too much from it, but I was wrong ... it made a massive difference  !

Far less skittish on rutted bends, bars don't wobble any more when I take my hands off and the screen doesn't rattle and shake like it used to. Best upgrade I can think of for under £50  .

I bought a Sat Nav mount from a member here, he warned me that it needed a coat of paint, he wasn't kidding  :smirk:

Thirty minutes with a Wire Brush and a Dremel and...

Kurust's brilliant stuff. Didn't know it was Hammerite branded these days. Is it still a thin, pinkish liquid?
