Well I had a lot on today what with shovelling snow and being the childrens taxi service. Have only managed to drive the bike up the drive to park it so praying for a prolonged thaw and maybe get it on the rd Monday.

But you have to admit it's a pretty rear box rack  :neen:

talking of box racks...

anyone managed to take the metal lugs and catch off without snapping allenkeys?
I've broke 2 now and an the things still won't budge!

want to take them off to make sure before I order one of the cymac box plate things.

I've thought about grinding the buggers off or blowtorch but that's a bit extreme I know!

ideas please?

You'll likely need to use a 3/8''  ratchet with one of those allen key sockets on, I'm sorry I don't know the correct name for them,  I had to use one to get mine off.  Be gentle when you first apply pressure, the Suzuki fastener hardware will strip their heads quite easily.  Also, when you put them back together put a bit of copper anti-sieze on the bolts, it will make life much easier if you need to take them off again.

The Cymarc top box adapter is great by the way!

Right. Having tried to use photobucket to show you my nice bike I find the site is down. Have now registered with feckin flickr and find that I can't use the nice guidance provided in the picture thread.
I think possibly I have sussed it now but if the pic fails to appear its because I am a complete technophobe.

Very VERY nice, the white looks stunning especially with the contrasting black bits.
The black sump guard (or whatever its called) looks brilliant, Pity the GT doesn't come with it. I'm going to look at a GT tomorrow.

Tanks for the pic, feel free to post more.
Cheers

I have only ridden the 7 miles home at the moment as it was still a bit iffy round our way in places when bringing it home but it is so much smoother than the vee but must remember less engine braking  when comming up to roundabouts etc  and its alot lighter than the vee as well sounds better as it has a triumph lary can on just looks like a cannon bolted to the side
with better weather next week I should get some more miles done going to and from work and more time to bolt some more goodies that I have been allowed to buy

They are too big. Resize them to a maximum width of 600px and all will be well.

Here are a couple of on-line tools for messing about with pics.

I know, the lack of functionality on this site is a disgrace. You should ask for your money back.
