Stubborn injector bodies ..
« on: September 22, 2017, 21:40:51 »
OK ..this probably won't do my reputation any good but it's worth a laugh.
Had to change a thermostat on a Honda VFR800 Vtec, this involved removing lots of bodywork, airbox, radiators and injector bodies ( big job ) ..!
Anyway ... The injector bodies were a real pain in the arse and needed a lots of leverage to remove them but reassembly needed a different tactic, See pic ...  :shy:

To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Blimey, I thought I was the only one with size 8 boots.
12 stone. Yes I am 12 stone... and a few more!
If I'd been there to 'help' you'd have been picking up all the broken bits.

Yes, some injectors do require a bit of leverage to remove...

I'm not fussy either ... I often participate in the odd pie or two but cycling 75miles a week to get to work soon burns off the pounds ..????
