Tree wood

I am a little embarrassed to share with the world that in 16 years of living in a place surrounded by my own trees, this year is the first time we have harvested any logs (we usually buy them in  ).

This year we had one tree commit suicide and another that was well on the way, so, enter some bloke with a Chainsaw and a Log Splitter and ta daaa, tree wood 

Given my extensive Management experience I delegated the stacking job to Dragonlady

Not sure about getting outside help to sort your own trees out though, shame on you Fat Rat!  :xmas-smile:

Oak or Chestnut?

Must let it stand for at least a year or it won't burn efficiently.
