Fitted Givi rack and top box and engine bars. I didn't think it would take two days.  :fix:

Very nice Brockett. That bike looks brand new too.  I'm contemplating Givi 'bars for my bike too.

The rack was a perfect fit. Other than having to remove the OE rack and rear panels in order to fit a connector dodab and then reassemble everything I had removed including the OE rack and then fitting the Givi rack arms to the connector dodab. The Engine bars induced much swearing until I figured out the centre connector needed easing with a file so I could fit the almost impossible to get at screws that link the two side arms. The Givi paintwork is not a thing of beauty so I'll be taking it off next winter and getting some powder coating done.

TDM - Bought and fitted Oxford heated Grips. - quick and dirty connection to the battery as I'm waiting on Ebay for a fuse box.
Still never actually rode it yet. Sunny today but by the cringe it was cold.
Took the car for it's first MOT.

The TDM took me out for the first time today. A 120 mile ride. It stayed dry, which was nice.

Dug the Varadero out of the back of the garage. Gave it a look over, topped up the oil, pumped up the tyres.
She fired into life on the first touch of the button.
Haven't heard her fire up since early Feb.

Out for a quiet 70 mile bimble up over the mountains. Still a bit of snow here and there and a little chilly.

Then when I got home I noticed the screen had a big crack near the mounting holes.  :dl_smiley_banghead:
Swapped the clear one for the huge tinted Givi that came with the bike.
Tomorrow is MOT day so we'll see if I can see past it in the morning.  ###

Right, that's it. I'm getting the bike out at some point this weekend, even if it's only for an hour or so. I'm getting withdrawal symptoms.

Yes, just about, although it's easier if I use a strap on  :shy:
my boot to lift my foot a bit higher.
