Cheers KOD, hopefully we will get the chance to catch up and compare bikes. The Crosstourers were high on my list of possible strom replacements. Had a cruise control been fitted to the Honda it would most likely been one of those that I would be collecting in the morning instead of the S10! I won't be using it for the next couple or so months though. I prefer to wait until the roads are free of salt. I have a few jobs to do on it to get it right for me. I need a switched fuse holder fitting to power some DRLs, the new Sat Nav needs fitting plus the nagging voice in my head that says the exhaust is perhaps a bit too fruity and will become annoying on longer journeys. As a result it is being swapped for a stock unit which I will flog along with the pcfc.

Just one more sleep...assuming I do sleep! One is just a tad excited!

I take it you are outside the motorbike shop already.

They'll be there in a minute.

Carry on telling yourself  that for the next 3 hours...

Enjoy your new 'bike mate, leave the exhaust as it is and let others appreciate the 270 degree loveliness. :thumb:

All the electrics on this thing are under a cover on the right-hand side of the fuel tank. It looks a bit tight under there... I've already started making my own fused accessory thingy but won't be fitting it for a week or two. I spent most of this afternoon making an aluminium adaptor plate to let me mount the Givi top box plate onto the Yamaha top box mount.

Just make sure there's none of that shabby, sprawling spaghetti wiring you're renowned for when you fit your fuse block.

If I remember correctly I had to evict the tool kit and stow it under the seat to make room for additional electrics, very tight under the cover as you say.

I quite agree Rusty, Tall's ill fated attempts at accessory wiring has been rather slipshod in the past. lol
