Another traitor
« on: January 26, 2017, 07:40:51 »
After a great year on my perfect bike the Veek desert is no longer mine, it's at via moto in Sheffield looking for a new owner.
Unfortunately I found it too heavy to manoeuvre around my parking area.
So I now have an 800cc MV Tourismo. Gone in with eyes open as have had a Ducati for 8yrs. These Italian bikes are usually very fickle but loads of fun when running. :)

Beautiful bike, good luck with it.
I know what you mean,  I find my Veek a right brute to mannover with the engine off and when I do change in the next year or three it will be for a lighter bike.

Stunning.

Welcome to the corner of traitors.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

That's got "wring my neck" "spank me" and "here's my licence, officer" written all over it. Use it properly!  :auto-dirtbike:

Hi K O.  Took Mivvi out yesterday 114 miles only. comfy seat so far
Need to do more miles as touring I mostly cover 200 per day.
Runs well and goes like stink ???? Handling wise its brill.
My local MV dealer did a vin check and there are several warranty upgrades outstanding so will take in soon to have sorted and a mid way oil/filter change too as just approaching 3k miles. The official service interval is every 6k, having had Italian bikes before I like to see clean oil come out with no bits of metal ???? however catching a problem earlier is imho better.

Gorgeous ... shame it's Italian.  Italy make bikes like their suits .. very pretty but fall to bits prematurely..

Seriously though , enjoy ..!! That's one fine looking good bike .
