No doubt. Did you see that VW tuareg when you passed through Whitworth?  The one with the wheel folded back into the wheel arch?

on the cross tourer forum they seem a friendly bunch too.

Well thank you very much.  I love my CT.  The engine's a monster.

Hi harmony I agree the engine is fantastic I can't wait for a dry weekend to take her out for a proper spin but so far so good the handling  leaves my old Strom in the shade and that's on new tyres :happydance:

I always find myself dawn towards these in work...

until I have to push one up the slope to the side of the building.
But then again they are still in the top 3 next bike options.

Africa Twin
VFR1200X
DL1000

Enjoy the new bike.  :thumb:

That looks great! I really like the two tone paint job.

Hi Mr Driver

I too looked at the Africa twin but it has less HP than my old DL1000  hence my purchasing the CT and I have not been disappointed that V4 is a peach much smoother I am like Tall Paul over 6ft 6ins tall so this bike suits me to a tee no problem with the weight I don't think it's any heavier than my old Strom and 8000 miles between services.

The Africa Twin has the same HP and torque figures as the Varadero I have but with 20kg less weight.
The VFR is 15kg heavier than the XL1000.

But shaft drive and 125hp could sway me in the direction of the VFR.
And I may be able to keep up with SWMBO on the GSX14 when she opens the throttle.

Diver you will not be disappointed the torque and the way she goes will leave you grinning ear to ear.

As for any extra weight you simply don't notice when on the move as much as I loved my Strom I think getting the CT was one of my better decision :thumb:
