« on: November 20, 2017, 09:34:09 »
Hello there, I have 2015 DL650 XT looking to add a rear hugger, I have chain guard already installed so looking for hugger only. Any suggestions where to get one or anyone with one for sale, Thanks John.

No problem, I should of added that this hugger is designed to sit over the top of the original chain guard so think carefully and possibly try to research others before you risk it.

Here's the fitting instructions for the MG3101, also I know the PDF states 11-13 but the Givi website shows it fits the 11-16 models.

Many have had fun with the very soft, very seized cross head screws on the chain guard. WD40 or similar, and patience. Heat not really an option due to wanting to keep the plastic. The screws usually get damaged during removal  and replaced with better ones, I seem to remember.

If you get the rear fastener out, it helps to pivot the Chain Guard, that can break the front fastener free. Once they are out, marvel for a second at the genius combination of chocolate and some hint of a metallic substance, then throw them in the bin.  Good luck

I have the Givi MG3101 on my 2014 glee. Simple to fit and also extends to cover the gap at the 'front' of the OE chain guard (and nothing more). Works a treat.
