Which of these is the best for the 650X
« on: August 19, 2016, 18:58:20 »
Been doing some reading in this section, and obviously different people prefer different screens.  I need a screen to prevent the upcoming buffeting (not picked up the bike yet).  As I commute all year all weather, I want something to "hide" behind when its chucking it down with rain, and obviously to stop the buffeting I read a lot about. So far its down to:

Pyramid:

Looks pretty good, a bit higher, but quite wide which "should" stop the majority of the rain.  £83

Or

Givi 3101DT

Very similar tye screen, wide, and slightly cheaper at £75

Then there's the other Givi screen, AF3101, all adjustable, but to be honest, its ruddy ugly so not on my preferred list.

So far its between the top two, I guess they are very similar.  Has anyone got any opinions on them both for what I need them for?  I'm on the motorway for about 17 miles per day, so if the rain is lashing down I want to be able to drop my head and shoulders down a bit to stop the majority of the rain hitting me.

I can't say about your 'top two' but the AF3101 covers the buffeting problem and even throws the rain forward! OK, beauty is in the eyes etc.........

I like it!  :icon_wink:
So how's it going so far then?
