Michelin offer... £25 off until July
« on: April 28, 2016, 08:12:26 »
OK folks I do not work or have any affiliate to Michelin but as a previous PR4 user I got this email this morning giving £25 off a set of tyres until 31 July... if fitted at an authorised dealer.

https://myoffer.moto.michelin.com/en_GB/catalog/details/44516/

It covers: MICHELIN Power SuperSport Evo, MICHELIN Pilot Power 3, MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 (Standard, GT and Trail), MICHELIN Anakee III, MICHELIN Commander II, MICHELIN Scorcher 11, MICHELIN Scorcher 31 and MICHELIN Scorcher 32.

So if it's any use to you... now's the time to make the best of it, unfortunately I don't need tyres yet or I would.

A bargain is only a bargain when you're looking for it............  :icon_wink:

So how's it going so far then?

That's my problem, when I need tyres I usually miss the offers...

There was a similar offer running when I bought my PR4s last year. I looked into it but it turned out the prices at the participating dealers were higher than available elsewhere so it was still cheaper to buy them online at Oponeo or Tyreleader and get them fitted by my local bike mechanic (and no faffing with submitting receipts and bank details to claim money back).

Hi , can I have a pair of Anakee 3s please !
Last pair did 10k miles , front gave out first rear still had 2 millimetres left !
Tried Pilot road 4s , great tyres rain shine or damp ( this is my test of tyres , if they stick when damp they are good !) Had the new 650 XT as a courtesy bike , this had done 700 miles with the Bridgestone Trail wings original equipment . I had forgotten how sharp the handling was or how the bike drops into corners . The feeling soon wore off , but I realised why I wouldn't put them on again as they let go at the front when pushed , OK they grip again, but by heck when the rear foot-peg touches down too before resuming forward motion and heart in mouth sensation is overcome !

How do you get a list of 'participating dealers'?
