Glee, no sump plug torque value.

Time to perform the 7,500mile service (change the oil and filter). Only problem is the owners manual doesn't specify a torque value for the sump plug.



How monumentally vague...

I've just checked the Glee service manual download from here and it's 21nm. Can't believe they put the procedure in the owners manual but don't provide you with the torque value.

I made the mistake of using a car oil filter remover (1/4 inch triple legged grabboid thing) to try and remove the oil filter.

Took a few seconds for my brain to click. fecking thread was wrong way around!! I never read the destructions.
